Manchester United will resume their search for a director of football with Ed Woodward reportedly keen to appoint either Atletico Madrid’s Andrea Berta or Fabio Paratici of Juventus.
Woodward has considered hiring someone to oversee football operations before but gave up, only for him to decide to now restart the hunt in the coming months.
According to The Telegraph, Berta is among those highly-regarded in the role who could be tempted to move to Old Trafford.
Other targets include Paratici and Antero Henrique, who is currently without a job after leaving Paris Saint-Germain a year ago.
