A leading Manchester United supporters' group has expressed concern that the club's protracted takeover saga could take 18 months, with the much-maligned Glazer family yet to sell despite an array of offers worth billions.
Rival bidders Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Qatari Sheikh Jassim have lodged a number of proposals to seize control at Old Trafford, although - as reported by Mail Sport - it is understood some involved in the process believe the Glazers may now not sell up.
Indeed, the prospect of the sale stretching into the autumn or even next winter has been discussed in both camps, leaving United mired in limbo.
