Manchester United fans have expressed their disgust at the club's role in the European Super League and rejected chairman Joel Glazer's apology over the fiasco.
At an emergency fans' forum on Friday morning, a letter was read out to executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward – who is standing down in the wake of the ESL's collapse - signed by the 10 supporters' representatives expressing their anger over the 'greed-fuelled idea' for a breakaway league and 'gross mishandling of club affairs'.
It said that the Glazer family have betrayed United's proud traditions in Europe in a way that would have left the late Sir Matt Busby ashamed of the club.
