Manchester United are bracing themselves for thousands of protesting fans at Old Trafford before Sunday's clash with Liverpool.
It is understood as many as 10,000 will converge on the stadium to make their feelings clear about United's owners.
The club are beefing up security for the behind-closed-doors match, and police are aware of the planned protest.
United's owners, the US-based Glazer family, have been the target of supporters' fury since their heavily-leveraged takeover in 2005.
Under the Glazers, more than £1billion has been drained from United in bank fees and dividend payments.
