Manchester United have signed six young players from reputable local amateur club Fletcher Moss Rangers.
Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard began their development at the youth club before eventually graduating to the United first team, following in the footsteps of Wes Brown, Danny Welbeck and Ravel Morrison.
The five Fletcher Moss old boys have amassed over 900 United appearances between them.
Now the Red Devils have recruited six Under-9 players, while rivals Manchester City have also signed one.
Cole Umebuani, Teddy Sherwood, Jaice Dore, Rafael Smith, Dane Mullings and Ka’eo Ingram have all joined United and Toalni Raheem has registered with the Premier League champions.
