Paul Merson believes that Manchester United should hire Brighton manager Graham Potter but claimed that the club will not as he 'is not a big name'.
The Red Devils appointed Ralf Rangnick as interim manager following the dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a run of humiliating results.
However, the German will only stay at the club until the end of the season and United will need to bring in a permanent manager at Old Trafford.
Merson insisted that the Seagulls boss is worthy of the role as he claimed he was a big fan.
