Manchester United have said they 'will conduct their own process' before deciding on their next course of action after charges against forward Mason Greenwood were dropped.
Charges of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm against the 21-year-old England international were dropped on Thursday, a year after he was arrested.
And the club said in a statement: 'Manchester United notes the decision of the Crown Prosecution Service that all charges against Mason Greenwood have been dropped.
The club will now conduct its own process before determining next steps.
