Manchester United have recalled Cameron Borthwick-Jackson from his loan spell at Wolves so that he can play for their U23 side tonight.
The talented left-back will start for United's U23s in their Premier League International Cup tie against Porto at Leigh Sports Village Stadium but, bizarrely, will then return to training at Championship Wolves on Thursday morning.
Borthwick-Jackson was sent on loan to Wolves at the start of the season but has failed to figure prominently under Walter Zenga and Paul Lambert.
Wolves use Jorge Mendes's company Gestifute in an advisory capacity and he is understood to have asked Jose Mourinho for help in the summer.
