Manchester United players and fans at the Europa League final paid an emotional tribute to the victims of the terror in their home city.
On Monday night 22 people died and 59 were injured as a bomber detonated an explosive device as the crowds piled out of the Manchester Arena having watched Ariana Grande.
The horrific attack overshadowed the build-up to United's Europa League final but the players insisted they wanted to play. Prior to kick-off at the Friend's Arena, the venue for the showpiece fixture, both sides observed a minute's silence. United fans broke into song, chanting 'Manchester' and waved flags simply bearing the word 'United'.
