Manchester United open door for Paul Scholes to make Old Trafford return as replacement for Warren Joyce

Manchester United are open to the prospect of Paul Scholes returning to the club.

The 41–year-old hung up his boots in 2013 but United are looking for a new Under 23s manager following Warren Joyce’s move to become Wigan Athletic manager.

And while they will not actively pursue their former player, they would be happy to speak to him should he declare an interest.
