Manchester United 'offer Paul Pogba a huge £500,000-a-week deal that would make him the highest paid Premier League player in history' as they make last ditch attempt to persuade France international to stay as he enters final six months of his deal

Manchester United have offered to make Paul Pogba the highest paid player in Premier League history in a bid to keep him at the club.

The France international is one of a number of United players whose contract is up in the summer and, as reported by Sportsmail, he has so far shown little desire to extend his Old Trafford stay.

Pogba has been linked with a number of Europe's biggest clubs, including former club Juventus and a move back to France with Paris Saint-Germain. Real Madrid have also been heavily linked.
