Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has admitted Blackburn Rovers deserved a replay following their FA Cup fifth round clash.
The Red Devils came from behind to beat Owen Coyle’s Championship strugglers 2-1 at Ewood Park, with goals from Marcus Rashford and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
But the Portuguese boss conceded their opponents were possibly worthy another match given an impressive display, and admitted he had been warned about the tough tie his men faced.
Mourinho: “I had a little phone call with Sir Alex Ferguson and he told me, traditionally, there have been very hard matches for Manchester United at Blackburn.
