Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has private scan behind closed doors after hamstring injury suffered in Champions League opener

Paul Pogba underwent a scan on his hamstring injury behind closed doors at Manchester United's training ground on Wednesday.

United invested millions in state-of-the-art medical equipment at their Carrington base to assess stars rather than utilising nearby hospitals.

Pogba headed straight for the tunnel after pulling up just 19 minutes into Tuesday's Champions League victory over Basle and later left Old Trafford on crutches.
