Ander Herrera will serve a two-game ban following his sending off in Manchester United's 1-0 defeat by Chelsea on Monday night.
The Spaniard was given his marching orders before half-time after picking up two bookings for separate fouls on Eden Hazard, as United were knocked out of the FA Cup by an N'Golo Kante strike from outside the box.
Herrera faces two games out because it was his second red card of the season, following his dismissal against Burnley in October, meaning an additional game is added to the automatic one-match ban for two yellow cards.
He will now miss the Red Devils' matches against Middlesbrough and West Brom, but will be available for the second leg of their Europa League clash with Rostov on Thursday.
