Jose Mourinho has conceded the Premier League title and challenged his players to raise their game to match Manchester City next season.
Mourinho admitted on Friday that Manchester United are now playing to finish ‘first of the last’ after slipping 15 points behind runaway leaders City with 13 games remaining.
The Portuguese coach wants United to respond in the same way as they did under Sir Alex Ferguson in 2006, securing a hat-trick of titles after Mourinho had won it in his first two years at Chelsea.

‘I always remember when Sir Alex said after we won the second title with Chelsea, we need to improve a lot because they have raised the bar to such a level,’ recalled Mourinho.
