Manchester United 'making progress in attempt to sign Villarreal defender Pau Torres' with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer eager to sign a centre-back

Manchester United are reportedly making progress in their quest to sign Pau Torres from Villarreal.

As reported by Manchester Evening News, United are becoming increasingly hopeful of signing Torres, although a deal is unlikely to be finalised until his involvement with Spain at Euro 2020 is over.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is determined to bring in a new centre-back this summer, with Torres one of the players under consideration.
