Manchester United are looking into complaints from supporters over the ticket allocation given out by Feyenoord for Thursday night’s Europa League clash.
The visitors were handed 1,400 tickets for the match after the home side claimed they were going to reduce the capacity at the De Kuip stadium in half, to around 26,000, following disturbances at a recent European match.
However, the ground appeared to be considerably more than 50 per cent full for the game, which Feyenoord won 1-0, and Uefa say there were 31,000 present.
The extra 5,000 home fans inside a raucous stadium has led some United supporters to accuse Feyenoord of skulduggery and they have voiced their concerns to Old Trafford officials.
