Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney tells Marcus Rashford to 'f***ing get his head out of his a***' and focus on beating his record and become the club's greatest goalscorer

Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has urged former team-mate Marcus Rashford to focus on being the club's greatest goalscorer.

Rashford, 24, has scored 93 goals for the Red Devils since making his debut in 2015 but he has become increasingly disillusioned at Old Trafford.

But Rooney wants the England forward to focus on beating his all-time record of 253 goals at Manchester United.

Speaking at a black-tie event in Manchester on Saturday, Rooney told The Sun: 'To get the record and be United's highest goal scorer is f***ing massive.
