Manchester United legend Patrice Evra has revealed he is in close contact with Jose Mourinho - saying he exchanges texts with the manager on occasion.
The Frenchman almost made a sensational return to Old Trafford in January, before the move was blocked by someone at the club.
He admitted he almost moved back to his former club from Juventus, but the switch never came to fruition - opting for a return to his homeland instead by joining Marseille.
The France international said the return to Manchester did not happen because someone at the club 'did not like the idea' of him coming back.
