Manchester United leave Alex Telles at home for Champions League trip to Istanbul Basaksehir after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed summer signing is still waiting on negative coronavirus result

Manchester United will be without Alex Telles once again on Wednesday night after he was omitted from their Champions League squad to play Istanbul Basaksehir on Wednesday night.

The defender, a £14million signing from Porto in the summer, tested positive for coronavirus last month and has since been in self-isolation.

Telles returned to the club's training ground on Monday for a coronavirus test but is yet to return a negative result, meaning he cannot fly and play in the Turkish capital.
