Gary Neville has made a living out of tearing footballers and managers to shreds as a pundit on Sky Sports and, on Sunday, those who have fallen foul of his high standards saw a chance for revenge.
Before becoming a respected television pundit, Neville was a fairly well established right-back for Manchester United and England, winning eight Premier League titles and two Champions Leagues in an esteemed career.
One thing he was not famed for, however, was scoring goals. And so it proved during his return to Old Trafford as he partook in Michael Carrick's testimonial.

Attempting to fire in a volley from the edge of the penalty area, fans too young to remember Neville playing suddenly realised why he scored only five goals in 400 Premier League appearances.
