Manchester United are set to open a bidding war for out-of-favour defender Macros Rojo this summer, with a £12m switch back to homeland Argentina likely.
The centre back is not part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first-team plans, and he was allowed to return to Estudiantes on loan in January,
That deal could be made permanent, but according to The Mirror, Argentine giants Boca Juniors are also interested in acquiring Rojo, 30, on a permanent deal.
The report details that United are keen to get the Argentina international off the wage bill at the club, as he still has one year left on his contract.
