Manchester United reportedly look set to turn their attention to Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins after Erik ten Hag's side were quoted far above the price they are willing to pay for Rasmus Hojlund.
According to The Athletic, the Red Devils were told the Atlanta striker could be available for £86million, and after scoring nine goals in 32 Serie A appearances last season, Hojland, who featured in Denmark's 1-0 win against Northern Ireland on Friday is too expensive for the Manchester club.
Instead, the outlet are reporting that Ten Hag's side are instead 'watching' Watkins, who has proven Premier League experience, helping Villa climb the table this season to gain a berth in the Europa League.
