Manchester United have officially arrived in Australia, excited and ready to start the first leg of Tour 2019.

After completing Manchester Airport's longest-ever direct flight at 16-and-a-half hours, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his 28-man travelling squad checked in to the team hotel in Perth.

The group then went for a short walk and stretches, organised to alleviate any stiffness and tiredness that may have resulted from the overnight journey.

The gentle activity around the hotel acted as a precursor to the resumption of hard pre-season work on Tuesday morning, when Solskjaer and his staff will hold a first session at neighbouring cricket ground The WACA.

That iconic sporting venue, which was first opened in 1893 and is named after Western Australian Cricket Association, will provide the club’s training base for the next 10 days while staying in Perth.
