Manchester United have not made an approach for Antoine Griezmann and no team is likely to meet £90m buyout clause, claims Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo does not think Antoine Griezmann will leave the club for Manchester United this summer.

Griezmann, whose contract with Atletico runs until June 2021, has been constantly linked with a move to Old Trafford over the past year.

With United now in next season's Champions League, following their victory over Ajax in the Europa League final on Wednesday, there is even more reason for the Frenchman to make the move.

However, Cerezo - president of Atleti since 2002 - says no approach has been made for the forward and, even if there was to be one, Griezmann is unlikely to depart.
