Rio Ferdinand has suggested Juan Sebastian Veron's chances of success at Manchester United were nullified by the presence of Roy Keane.
The Argentinian joined United in the summer of 2001 from Lazio for a fee of £28.1million – which was a Premier League record at the time – and initially settled well.
He was given the Premier League player of the month award for September in his first season but over time, he struggled to settle.
