Manchester United have been given a boost in their pursuit of Mauro Icardi after Real Madrid blacklisted the striker’s agent.
Icardi has already bagged 22 goals in Serie A this season for Inter Milan and he could be on the move this summer.
Both Manchester United and Real Madrid are interested in the Argentina international, who has a release clause of €120million (£104m) in his current contract.
Real Madrid have more recently been viewed as the favourites for Icardi after making him one of their top targets this summer.
But, according to Diario Madridista, Manchester United have been given hope fresh hope.
