Jose Mourinho insists Manchester United will give everything they can in the EFL Cup, having promised to field his strongest team against Hull City on Tuesday.
The Red Devils are looking to win the competition for the first time in seven years, with Mourinho eyeing up his FOURTH success – having picked up the trophy in 2005, 2007 and 2015 with Chelsea.
Mourinho has often stressed the importance of the cup, seeing as it is the first silverware of the season which can be won, and although the Hull match is just five days before a vital Premier League clash against Liverpool, the Portuguese boss is not going to hinder his chances of reaching Wembley again.
