Manchester United fans dodge 50-tonne lorry to get signatures of their heroes

Child football fans risked being run over by a huge lorry to get autographs from Manchester United players.

More than 10 children, some thought to be as young as seven, were spotted crowding together in a busy road as they waited for star names to leave training at the club’s Carrington base in Greater Manchester.

Among the big names in cars who found themselves being crowded by the young fans were striker Marcus Rashford, 18, in a Mercedes and England international defender Chris Smalling in his Bentley.
