Manchester United fans are convinced Sir Alex Ferguson told Jose Mourinho to play Scott McTominay more often when they met after Munich service

Sir Alex Ferguson dished out some words of wisdom following Tuesday's service of remembrance for the victims of the 1958 Munich air disaster.

After marking the 60th anniversary of the tragedy — which took the lives of 23 people including eight Manchester United footballers — at a solemn Old Trafford service, Ferguson grabbed young midfielder Scott McTominay for a chat.

The conversation was captured on camera and was quickly followed by Fergie grabbing manager Jose Mourinho and telling him something rather forcefully while appearing to point in the direction of 21-year-old McTominay.

We cannot be certain what was said between the former and current United managers, but many fans are convinced the 76-year-old Scot was telling Mourinho to give McTominay more game time.
