Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu Mensah is discussing a £1.8million transfer to Bayer Leverkusen.
Talks are advancing after the Dutch international failed to agree terms with United over a new contract.
The 23-year-old's deal runs out this summer and he had decided against signing a new contract as the finances offered were understood to be a lot less than he was asking.
Fosu Mensah has made 30 appearances for United since joining from Ajax's academy in 2014. He had spells on loan at Crystal Palace and Fulham but has failed to make the desired impact at United.
