Getting married at the picturesque Lake Como in Italy is not overly extravagant, in relative footballer terms, but once you factor in the distances the couple will travel for the stag, hen and honeymoon that is a lot of air miles, more than 30,000 in fact.
The round trip to north Italy is 2,000 miles, the England defender will make a 10,100 mile journey for his stag do in Las Vegas with in June, Cooke took her friends and family to Barbados last week, racking up 8,300 miles in the process.
