Manchester United checked in on Benfica centre back Victor Lindelof again on Monday night as Jose Mourinho pushes ahead with plans to stiffen up his back line.
Sweden international Lindelof, 22, has a release clause in the region of £50million with the Lisbon giants and Mourinho will look to snap him up this summer.
United scouts watched their target help Benfica to a clean sheet in their 4-0 win over Belenenses on Monday night, a result that restored them to the summit of Portugal’s Primeira Liga.

They have been regulars at the Estadio da Luz this season and also had an eye on Benfica’s 4-0 defeat at Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League last week.
