Manchester United chief Ed Woodward has reportedly told rebel clubs to accept relegation from the Premier League as part of Project Restart obligation as three teams dropping out of the top flight cannot be avoided.
Another meeting between Premier League shareholders is scheduled for Thursday when the debate over deciding league positions if the season is not completed is set to be discussed.
United executive vice-chairman Woodward indicated over the phone last week that clubs should realise that three clubs being relegated to the Championship is part of the Project Restart process, according to The Telegraph.
