Manchester United has become the UK's first football club to partner with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) charity Stonewall.
The club announced the 'groundbreaking initiative' which will see United and the charity work on inclusion in football while Old Trafford will host Stonewall's Rainbow Laces Summit.
In a statement released on Tuesday morning, United say they have become an official member of 'TeamPride' which helps 'to form opinions, share best practice and influence behaviour by using the power of sport to harness the message of equality'.
The TeamPride coalition is made up of a number of global businesses who support fans, players and those involved in sport in issues around homophobia and discrimination.
