Manchester United are set to try and sell Daley Blind this summer, even though they have just triggered an extension to his contract.
Blind's contract was due to run out at the end of the season but United activated a clause they have in place with most of their players to extend his deal by 12 months.
The extension to the midfielder's contract will mean United can recoup the £14million they spent on him four years ago by demanding a transfer fee this summer, according to the Mirror.
Roma had enquired about signing the Dutchman on loan in January but United rejected their approach in favour of a more permanent solution.
