Manchester United have appointed Ricky Sbragia as their new Under-23s manager.
Sbragia, 61, replaces Warren Joyce, who left Old Trafford to become Wigan boss in November. Academy chief Nicky Butt has been temporary manager for the last seven months.
Sbragia, who left his role as Scotland Under-21 manager in September, worked as United's reserves coach between 2002 and 2005 and managed Sunderland in the Premier League in 2009.
He said: "I couldn't be happier to be back at Manchester United. It's an exciting time for the club, with a new structure for the Academy and a relatively new set of coaches and management team.
