Manchester United brought an end to a troubled week with a comeback and a sit-in at Old Trafford. The fans applauded the players off even as they yelled their disgust for the Glazer family that owns the club and prepared for an hour-long protest inside the ground. That is the way it is at United these days: no one knows whether to laugh or cry.
United deserve plenty of the credit for the way they came from behind to beat a Forest team that had gone two goals up in the first four minutes thanks to some amateurish defending from the home side.
