Marcus Rashford scored the winning goal Manchester United ground out a 2-1 win over Anderlecht in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Jose Mourinho's side started the match brightly and took the lead after just 10 minutes when Henrikh Mkhitaryan fired a low drive past Ruben following good work down the left from Rashford.
Anderlecht responded well to going a goal down and deservedly equalised midway through the first half when Sofiane Hanni powered home after Youri Tielemans had struck the bar with a deflected shot.
Rashford, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba were all guilty of wasting clear-cut chances after the break but it was the England international who made himself the hero with a fine finish in the second period of extra-time.
