Manchester United 08 XI 2-2 Michael Carrick’s All Stars: Midfielder scores brilliant equaliser in testimonial

Michael Carrick gave the Manchester United fans what they came for as he scored a brilliant late equaliser in his Old Trafford testimonial.

The midfielder captained the United team that won the 2008 Champions League final against a team of footballing legends as the Red Devils paid tribute to his 11 years at the club.

And he capped the occasion in the best of ways, firing a low strike from the edge of the box to see the game end level and put smiles on the faces of the capacity crowd.
