Injured defender Chris Smalling hit the Manchester shops with fiancee Sam Cooke as he continues his recovery from a broken toe.
Smalling, who will be absent for the next four weeks – and may not play again before Christmas – was pictured hobbling around the city's centre.
Accompanied by his model partner, the Manchester United centre back spent over three hours in Selfridges and Harvey Nichols.
The couple seemed more interested in their smartphones during their day out as they braved the winter weather to check out the city centre's shops.
