Man United's Rojo out for season with cruciate ligament injury - reports

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho believes his team are in trouble with their piling injuries.

Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo will miss the rest of the season due to a ruptured cruciate ligament in his left knee, according to multiple UK newspapers.

Rojo, 27, was stretchered off in the first half of United's 2-1 Europa League win against Anderlecht on Thursday after committing to a tackle. He tried to play on, but went down minutes later and signalled to the sidelines for a substitute.

On Friday, the Argentina international was confirmed to have torn his ACL and will need surgery that could keep him out until at least September, the reports say.
