Man United's injury crisis worsens as Jonny Evans is forced off with an early injury in his first Champions League game in a decade against Copenhagen

Man United's injury crisis has worsened after Jonny Evans limped off early on in their 4-3 loss against FC Copenhagen with an injury.

The former Leicester centre back was making his first appearance in the Champions League in a decade at the Parken Stadium.

With Lisandro Martinez sidelined with a lengthy injury and Raphael Varane only just returning after his own fitness issues, Evans was making his fourth start in six games across all competitions.

But, in what was a crucial match for the Red Devils to keep their Champions League dreams alive, the Northern Ireland international was forced off in the 16th minute of the game.
