Jonny Evans has signed a new one-year contract to stay at Old Trafford until June 2025, Manchester United have announced.
Evans, 36, returned to his boyhood club last summer as a free agent after spending eight years with West Brom and Leicester.
The Northern Ireland centre-back ended up making 30 appearances in all competitions due to injuries to Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire.
Evans came on as a late substitute in the FA Cup final win over Manchester City in May as he added the famous trophy to the three Premier League titles, two League Cups and four Community Shields he won in his first spell at United under Sir Alex Ferguson, completing a clean sweep of domestic silverware.
