Man United stars 'still seething over David de Gea's treatment' before Andre Onana was signed for £47m to replace the axed Spanish goalkeeper

Manchester United players are reportedly still angry over how David de Gea was treated prior to his departure from the club in the summer.

De Gea's contract at Old Trafford expired at the end of June, with the Spaniard ultimately leaving after 12 years of service.

A framework agreement had originally been reached to reduce De Gea's £375,000-a-week wage.

Despite terms being reached with the goalkeeper, the club later backed out of the offer with manager Erik Ten Hag having reservations over keeping his No 1.

According to the Sun, Man United's squad are still fuming over the treatment De Gea received prior to his departure.
