Manchester United have revealed that 2,000 Galatasaray fans ended up in the home end during the sides' recent Champions League clash at Old Trafford.
United came in for fierce criticism after clips on social media showed pockets of Galatasaray fans dotted all around the stadium as they celebrated their 3-2 win in a crucial Champions League clash.
While the club previously apologised, an exact figure of how many made it into the home end has emerged following the club's latest fans' forum.
During the meeting, which was held on October 10, United's director of supporter services, Sam Kelleher, confirmed the 2,000 figure.
