United register interest in Diaby

Manchester United are interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen forward Moussa Diaby this summer.

United are on a hunt for a forward after the Wout Weghorst experiment failed, and, though Harry Kane remains top of their wish list, they are drawing closer to accepting that the England captain may not join.

That's led them to Diaby, who scored 14 goals and added 11 assists in all competitions as he helped to spearhead Leverkusen's turnaround under Xabi Alonso.
