Manchester United are looking to prise Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez away by reportedly offering him wages of £85,000 a week more than he earns now.
The Premier League giants have been long-term admirers of the 25-year-old but he has a release clause of £135million in his Atletico contract.
United will try to acquire his services by increasing his weekly pay packet from £115,000 to £200,000, according to The Sun.
The Old Trafford club are reportedly only prepared to bid £70m for the Spanish international.
