Man United interim boss Ralf Rangnick could pick highly-rated defender Teden Mengi amid rotation tonight against Young Boys, with former captain and Derby boss Wayne Rooney describing 19-year-old as 'fantastic'

Ralf Rangnick could hand a full Manchester United debut to defender Teden Mengi for tonight's Champions League dead-rubber against Young Boys at Old Trafford.

United are already guaranteed top spot in their group and United's interim boss is set to ring the changes, with Dean Henderson and Donny van de Beek both confirmed to start.

Ahead of a busy festive period, the German may be tempted to make wholesale changes and if so, 19-year-old Mengi could make his first competitive start for the club.
