Phil Jones is enjoying a longest run of games for two years but knows critics are lurking should his form dip.
The Manchester United central defender had not played since the start of January before returning from chronic injury problems last month.
Jones has since been a revelation, although he readily admits five consecutive Premier League starts is only the beginning if he is to prove his long-term worth to Jose Mourinho.
‘One minute you can be the blue-eyed boy and the next match you can be slated,’ Jones said.
